H&R Block

This happened to me a few weeks ago. First and last time , that I will ever come to this location. The one I go to in Pickering is close and I am travelling the next day. I was simply asking for a new H&R block card so I can withdraw my refunds , while I'm travelling. I came there early ,. I was their first customer of the day. It took them a while before they even talk to me. My Timmy's coffee became cold and it was summer time. They had a young Indian guy at the desk and he barely has a clue on what to do. He waited for the old Indian guy, could be the owner. I gave him all my H&R block paper work, two IDs( Driver's license and passport) . When the old guy came in , he look at my paper work and IDs ,and said" We don't give new cards just like that". He look at the computer and keep asking me for info , which are already in the paper work and their data base. After 2 hrs plus , I just left. The following day I went to the Pickering location and they gave me a new card with no questions asked .They only charge me $3.00 and did it in less than 15 minutes. I would give the Hardwood location a 0.0 star if I could. The worst customer service H&R block I've ever been to . Responding to the owner's respond: I f you bothered to read my entire review, you would notice that the Pickering location already resolved the problem. I am not going back to your location period. I am sticking to the Pickering location, their customer service quality is way above yours. Thank you for your "generic automated respond".

I am not at all impressed with their services, when I spoke on the phone with one of the representatives the first question i asked was how much am I going to pay to get my tax return and GST they said it would be around $90 to $100 dollars, SO tell me why I was charged a $144.59 that is absurd and then told the woman I spoke to on the phone to do my GST she said yes course, so I login to my account I see she didn't even do it, like what the hell did I pay you for, seriously this company should be completely taken down because this behavior is absolutely absurd.

Had a great experience at the Ajax location, quick and easy even during this time.
