Menzies House 1850 B&B

Menzies House is like a hidden gem! The whole house is tastefully designed and meticulously maintained. The location of the house in Almonte, along with the views of the river make it an ideal place for an escape from the hustle and bustle of big city life. Pat is a lovely host. She treated me and my family like her own and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.

Pat the owner is so kind and truly a pleasure to meet. The accommodation is superb, her gardens and pool area are so relaxing and inviting. If you go to Almonte be sure to stay here ... next time we plan a trip in this area this is the place we will stay .. we wish we had arrived earlier in the day to tour Almonte and stayed 2 nights at Menzies.

A beautiful, historic house on the river with a great pool and backyard garden. We had high expectations from the photos and were not disappointed. The King room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Pat was a welcoming host and her breakfast was delicious. I wish we had booked several nights! This is the quintessential Bnb experience.
