Brought my 2015 Ford escape in for a safety recall, they fix the issue, all is well, next morning when I picked my car up from here they stated they noticed a "small coolant leak" and that I will be able to drive no problem for a couple of weeks because "the part is back ordered". I drove for roughly 4 km before my engine was smoking to the point that the damage would have permanently ruined my engine. I call ford and they sound out a younger kid maybe 25 years old, he tells me that I should take it back to dealership and that they'll have a look(this is the only person in my experience that I felt wanted to do the right thing). I spoke to Peter D when I brought it back. he tells me that my car was damaged before I brought it in, and that "I already spoke to him about the leak" when I picked it up originally. Tells me it'll be minimum of 2 days if he can get the part from another dealer or 10 days if its from the US, and 180$ repair, I didnt believe them and towed my car do a different auto shop. Meineke(auto shop on Davis) helped me tremendously. takes a look at my car and Immediately knew McAlpine broke my car. I then called McAlpine to tell them what they did, Receptionist asks if I want to speak to service Department, I say no, I tell her that I knew they messed my car up and that I was very disappointed that they tried to take advantage of me. She says "well thanks for making me feel like Sh**" and hangs up. for the young lad in the service department I hope your kindness doesn't unnoticed. I would recommend going to a different auto shop for repairs if you are un experienced with cars as this place will 100% take advantage of you. 0/10 for me. just wanted to share my experience for any new car owners.

Spring tire change-over, oil change & check-up was done quickly and courteously. They are my go-to for service for my Ford. The service department staff are great! Don is the bomb!
