Morning of Thursday Feb. 13th my C:/D:-partioned main programs drive gives a couple warning hiccups and dies. All the programs that make my computer work suddenly evaporate. And I do a lot of specialized work for one client, everything from database maintenance, writing and some very exacting Photoshop work. I called them, and Eric suggested replacing the hard drive with a solid state drive. After updating me on the most recent improvements to that technology (it started off a bit sketchy a few years ago), he persuaded me to switch out the old HDD for an SSD. I brought in the entire computer (desktop) at 11 AM, and he called about 5 PM to let me know I could pick it up. He'd mirrored all of my programs and critical software perfectly onto the new drive. Once home, I fired it up and, even though I KNEW it would be faster to load and run everything, it was still mildly astounding to see how fast and perfect it all ran. It was like getting a new computer, without having to get a new computer! The operation was quick, completed perfectly, and fairly priced. Kudos all 'round. Thanks again for such great work!
