Simcoe Family Medicine

Dana Young is a NIGHTMARE. I held off writing a review , but she has now crossed the line making my mother cry and uncomfortable during her last visit simply because she went to the walk in clinic and that it would cost Dana money. On top of that, she kicked me off of her client list last year simply because I was extending my lease in Guelph (I already lived hear for 4 years). When she dropped me as a client it was in a middle of a call talking about my severe anxiety. Shame on you Dana.

Dana Young doesn't deserve to be called doctor, she is dismissive of your health needs, and has a 5 minute time limit. Awful doctor.

So many awful experiences over 15 years. Second star is only because reception staff and nurse are excellent and never had particularly bad experiences with Ian, but mostly ended up with Dana. Got really tired of being invalidated, minimized and gaslit by her all the time, but stuck because of doctor shortages. Dismissive of my health concerns. I had to fight for every test or referral with her. Seemed completely disinterested in helping me at all. Ridiculous wait times. Constantly on vacation. And then dumped us as patients after we moved even though we had a specific conversation about staying on for phone appointments so my husband and son can continue getting their prescriptions, and then they claimed we'd been told they would drop us the minute we moved (a blatant lie). Better off with no doctor, honestly, with the stress this experience caused me.

Every interaction I have had with Simcoe Family Medicine has been great. They have looked after our family of five very well for a number of years.
