Barrie Lasik Centre

I had cataract surgery yesterday and was very impressed with the entire experience. I had previous surgery in a hospital and this is far superior. Well worth the extra cost.

This facility needs to respect peoples time and consideration. It took 4 months to get a booking. First visit took an hour before they actually seen me, according to them they didnt have my appointment but after numerous attempts they found my appointment supposedly. Next visit they made me wait 45 minutes past my appointment time. I guess they feel their time is more important than mine. The next issue even gets worse. They changed my appointments 4 different times with phone calls, that I did receive. Unfortunately they now couldnt accommodate me for another 3 months. If I ran my business like this I would have gone bankrupt. The service is terrible. They must be the only game in town.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Dr Curt is very attentive and professional. He made a twenty minute procedure feel like five. I had no pain other than a mild headache which I expected as a reaction from a change in glasses to no glasses. This was much quicker than my cataract surgery done in hospital 8 years ago. Part of that is due to putting the dilating drops in yourself 2 hours before your appt time. Spotlessly clean and efficient friendly clinic

I wore glasses since I was 5 or 6, started wearing contacts in high school, had those till I was 31, never really minded glasses or contacts but I had the PRK procedure done 9 months ago and it's the best thing I have ever done for myself. I am so happy to not worry about losing or breaking glasses or messing around with contact lenses. The healing time did really suck and after there was a lot of pain but I think that's to be expected, it was only for about 2 weeks. My night vision is still a little worse and it's getting better, I was also told that's normal, so altogether I am over the tip happy and very pleased with the work they did. It seems a little costly upfront but over the years and how much it helps it's worth every penny! Thank you sooo much all the friendly amazing people at barrie lasik centre!!
