Used the mediation center for many many sessions. Absolutely nothing was accomplished, not one single thing. And it ultimately landed us back in court to deal with the issues and increased the conflict between us unnecessarily. It was $$ that was spent uselessly or at a deficit. The mediators knew less about family law rules than us and would give poor advise due to his lack of education in family law.

It is difficult to overstate the damage that this organization did to my children. I was not told when we were referred to Claudette for mediation that one of her business partners was my ex-wife's lawyer Thomas Dart. She all but agreed with everything my ex-wife said and told me that we all needed to accept the pre-teen children's "decision" not to follow the legal access schedule. Claudette told me in her condescending way that parental alienation is a "myth" created by men to hurt women. I was never able to secure regular access to my children other than a meal every week or two and 8 years later the damage of growing up without a father is permanent. I truly hope these people come to understand one day the suffering they inflict and that children need both parents in their lives.

Was sadly disappointed!! Chose mediation to help my ex and I come to terms for our separation agreement. Had one meeting after months of waiting and never had a second. It took me 20min of driving around to find the location and then a parking spot. I am disabled and have a rollator (walker). There was only one occupied handicapped parking spot at the back of the building and every other spot was taken, parked in a parking lot about 7min walk away. Finally made it to the walkway and the handicapped ramp was CLOSED for winter. Closed?!? Oh.. I see. Because most handicapped people can miraculously walk without their assistive devices when it's freezing cold and snowing. Right. So I took the other path with three steps down to get into the building, which also had no handicapped entry door button. So I struggled to get the door open and my rollator pushed through.. only to find myself stuck on a landing between a set of stairs up and a set of stairs down! No elevator?? Thinking I must be in the wrong spot, I call their office on my cellphone. Nope. I'm in the right place.. they didn't think to ask if I needed an accessible entrance, and don't have a better suggestion than having someone meet me in the cold stairwell and do my intake appointment there. In public. No privacy, no place to sit, freezing cold and feeling like I've been completely disrespected. I left with the person I saw apologizing and telling me they would make alternative plans that could accommodate for our next appointment. Which I've never had. Almost 4 months later, someone emailed to ask if we still needed mediation. I said yes, but have never been contacted again about an appointment. My ex was to do his intake appointment and then we were to do a few appointments together to discuss our options. In theory this sounds like a much more affordable option, especially being on disability pension, but cheap or free doesn't matter if you never get the job done! Completely dropped the ball across the board completely. Will NEVER recommend this place to anyone.. especially if they are physically disabled!! Tsk tsk.. it's the 21st Century!!
