Dr Avi Vandersluis

I am moving to Barrie the last month of my pregnancy and it has been quite challenging finding an OB to care for me in my new city. Unfortunately this Dr could not take me on directly but the receptionist I spoke with Franca (so sorry if I am spelling your name wrong) was absolutely incredible and not only was the kindest receptionist I have ever dealt with but went above and beyond to secure me care through another practice since they could not accommodate me there. This gesture has eliminated all of the stress I had approaching my last month of pregnancy so thank you to the amazing staff at this location for truly caring about patients needing care

Great OB in terms of giving you time for questions and being reassuring during appointments. My only complaint is that my appointments were never on time. I waited on average 2-3 hours past my appointment time every single scheduled appointment in his office. I also had a scheduled induction and had to have a c-section after 36 hours and he was not working at the hospital during those hours so I can't comment on a hospital experience. Otherwise I had a good experience.

Dr.Vandersluis is one of the most fantastic people my wife and I have dealt with. He delivered my daughter yesterday night, and was able to guide my wife through the whole pregnancy, even when there were some scary points. Thank you again so much.

From the time I walked into that office, I felt heard & knew I'd be cared for with compassion. I've had some challenging experiences with other GYN & this Dr and his staff are TOP NOTCH. I felt listened to, respected and left with more knowledge about my condition & options, than I went in with - highly recommend this office for patient care. Thank you. Added - have since had surgery by Dr V & wish I could rate him even higher than 5 stars. My life is changed because of him. Thank you again.
