Bev did all the coordination and Sarah was my kitchen cabinet painter. Bev was super easy to communicate with, and Sarah was amazing! She was meticulous but quick, painting all 22 of my cabinets/drawers with primer and 3 coats in only 3 business days. It was great that our cabinets stayed on site and didn't have to be removed, labelled, and reinstalled. We're so happy with the results, and she was a pleasure to have in the house. Highly recommend! Do not use Fresh Look Painting Services. They didn't even finish the contracted job. For the final 3 scheduled days of our job they didn't even call, message or e-mail saying they wouldn't be arriving, I had to contact Bev directly, who then advised us (with only 3/4 of our written contracted job completed) they would not be returning to finish the job. I was provided 4 separate and different excuses during a single 20 minute phone conversation as to why. First excuse; they were over 2 weeks behind on other jobs (company issue, not the customers problem). Second excuse; we are too picky (take a look at the photos and judge for yourself if this would be okay to you). Third excuse; one of her painters was no longer interested in finishing the contracted work (that is entirely a company / employee issue and not the customers issue). Last excuse, the company was in the hole by $700 on our job (it took 6 coats of paint to cover the old paint colour instead of the 2 coats that Bev said should suffice while putting the quote together which is entirely a company problem, especially for a company that's sole business is painting, they should have a better understanding of what colour paints (especially the Benjamin Moore paint that they use) cover and to what extent). Furthermore, I never told the painters to keep adding coats, they mentioned it while working that another coat and another coat would be required as the old colour was still plainly visible. I did not push the issue at all AND in fact I even paid the additional materials costs without any issue. This problem was entirely the company's fault however as I hired them to repaint our entire house and left all quoting and costing up to them with no cost negotiating done, we accepted what was provided on the quote with them providing all materials and we promptly paid everything we were invoiced.) So in the end we were left with 3/4 of a painting job done and much of the finite detailed work left such as trim and edging. We were further told (after much negotiation) at the end of the phone call that they would come back and redo the baseboard that the water staining had bled thru (improper job in the first place, even Bev said she saw that and it was not sealed first as it should have been) as well as two ceiling borders. However as I suspected we never heard anything and no one showed. VERY POOR company and PATHETIC service. Company issue after company issue was blamed on us the customer, even on an approximately $9,000 painting job they still left us hanging. We praised the painters every day they were in our house as the work they had done so far was coming along nicely, furthermore I did everything I could through-out their job to make it easier for them. I removed the bulk of our furniture out of each room so as to make it easier for them. I did almost all drywall touch-ups (holes, dents, etc) myself and several of the painters commended my repair work with one even asking if I wanted a job. These were all items that were included in their painting job however I did it myself to help out and I did it all prior to their arrival so as to not interfere with them. We remained out of their way throughout the days that they were in our house painting. The few touch-ups in rooms that were "completed" were obvious ones that several of which the painter(s) themselves voluntarily pointed out to us saying they knew about it and would take care of it when they had that specific colour being used again. What we were told by the painters who were actually at our job every day versus what Bev told us on the phone were the exact opposites regarding the state of the work so far. Save yourself a major headache and do not even consider this company for any painting / staining work. It is too bad, we were so hopeful after reading many of the Google reviews, however our experience has turned into a nightmare as we have to contract out the remaining 1/4 of our job that was supposed to be completed 3 weeks ago.
