Skilled Trades College of Canada - Barrie

I completed the 3 month pre apprenticeship electrical program and it was an amazing experience. I gained a lot of knowledge about the industry and how things work. Having such a hands on experience is really beneficial as well because I actually feel ready to go into the field and complete work confidently. My instructor Mario made the course very enjoyable as well as he was able to explain things in very simple to understand ways. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in being an electrician but wants to gain some experience before entering the workforce.

I just completed the 3 month Electrical program at the Barrie campus. Mario, a master electrician, was a excellent instructor. I can't say enough good things about him. His teaching techniques and ability to convey information made learning easy. The knowledge gained through him will most definitely set me up for the future.

Taking the electrical program was the best learning experience I ever had. I learned a lot and had fun doing it. Mario (the instructor I had for the program) was a great teacher.

STC has been an incredible 3 month program. Mario the master electrician who was the instructor for my class demonstrated an excellent approach to teaching. As someone who has not understood math and done well with academically in previous education facilities Mario was able to break down and teach the material so that it was easy to grasp and understand. Even with issues of working night shifts Mario was extremely understanding and accommodating as to make sure my education was a success. Definitely worth the leap of faith into a 3 month condensed program as I'm leaving here with an bigger idea with what is required of me going to continue to pursue a career as an Electrician. Thank you STC but more importantly thank Mario Debono for being a great instructor.
