        Amazing summer stop. Have a picnic, enjoy some water cascading down the beautifully exposed Canadian Shield. Just please be respectful of the space, take all garbage with you and do not disturb the wildlife. I had the pleasure of seeing a baby deer enjoy a swim here one morning and it was magical. Take care of the things you love and they will take care of you. Picnic area: Great grassy area with picnic benches under the shade for eating.

        Not at all what I expected when I learned of the Beer now being made, with the name The Crooked Slide. Upon further investigation I learned the Beer had been named after this Park which pays tribute to the Logging History of this area. Outstanding spot to visit at anytime of year! However parking may not be as accessible by car in the winter. It's a beautiful log Chute riverside park.
