Lapalm Moving/Allied Van Lines Canada Agent

I requested an online quote initially through the Allied website & was given a range of $1,417 to $2,112. Im moving a studio apartment from Ontario to Quebec. Had a walkthrough with this local company & was given an estimate of $6,600! Its understandable that the online quotes are not exact, however this was over three times the top end amount of the quote. When I asked about this, they simply stated I cannot speak to the online quoting system. The rates provided to you are within our guidelines. Seems like a bait & switch to me. Either that, or my business isnt worth it to them & they dont have the professionalism to come out & say that.

Lapalm moving did an amazing job moving our belongings from a 3-bedroom country home. They were a pleasure to work with, professional, punctual, courteous, and efficient. Everything was handled well and arrived intact. To give a quote, Helen personally visited our place to account for the logistics and the amount of things that we needed moving. This meant we had the right number of people and trucks, and a realistic schedule. I definitely recommend them.

Called today to talk thru issues with our pre pack. Was advised that the team was busy and to file a complaint thru F&E. Good service is hard to find these days. *** changing my review. The movers were amazing. They moved an entire house, no damage to either house on the move in and move out. Fast and friendly. The people at the office still need to work on customer service in my opinion.
