Spent approximately $565.00 on roughly 3,000 Square Feet of Hydro Seed. Had it applied and waited for the magic to happen. This summer was fairly dry so we religiously watered it every day. It took some time but the seedings started to pop up everywhere and soon the dirt ground we had looked at for two years turned into a luscious field of green! There were some bare spots, most likely from being so dry all summer, Contacted Blackwood properties, few texts here and there and He came and gave it a second coating. Blackwood Properties is a business operating in the Muskoka Region where money does not seem to be an issue for a lot of people and Big Name businesses thrive. The fact that he responded promptly and professionally and fixed up some problem areas goes a long way! Thank-you Blackwood Properties! I will continue to pass on your name and recommend you. And should I require a large area to be seeded again, I will contact you and gladly spend the money to get the Job done Right like you have! Thank you so much.

Before and after $565 worth of hydroseeding was applied in early June. Just weeds and some sparse grass from regular seeding. Watered it every other day and nothing. Owner no longer responding to texts. Big waste of money. Everything I have personally planted in the same soil is thriving.

We had a terrific experience with Blackwood, and Nevin in particular - this past summer 2019. Our frontage is open but undulating and was starting to erode away through tree roots and granite. Nevin and his team trucked and hand-bombed 40 tonnes of topsoil all by hand, and hyrdoseeded immediately after. Our timing was great in mid-September, so no watering on our part. Within a week, a buzzcut started growing, and a month later, we have full coverage of new green sprouts. We're quite excited to see how it over-winters, however we will also be over seeding in the spring, to increase it's density. Nevin was fantastic, he was responsive to questions and scheduling, and over delivered on his commitments to us. He has our full endorsement!
