Queen Square Doctors and Family Health Team

I have been going to Queen Square doctors my whole life. My Family doctor was J.W. Moody until he retired. He was the best, always made time to see me, never rushed me out. Me and my daughter have been provided with Dr. Merker, who is never available. I am 6 weeks pregnant and have advised them that I have a new job contract, and am on probation rn and can't leave work before 4pm, So I requested to be referred to another doctor who can accommodate me for now, at least for my prenatal visits. The receptionist is completely and utterly rude, I have never been talked down too by anyone in that office, until now. I have no relationship with my new Doc, met him twice and it was rushed, so obviously he's is no rush to help, but when I asked to remove my IUD he was able to refer me. I cannot take time off. I had 7 days off offered on this years contract, and I used it to get married and go for my honey moon. I understand its not their fault, but I don't make doctor wages and need this job, especially if I'm pregnant and going to need hours for time off. It is July 25th and his first afterhours appointment is September 29th...I AM PREGNANT & need to see a doctor, why wont he just refer me? & Why do my appointments get declined when I try and book online. I even tried a different doctor, who had late hours but of course, wasn't referred by my new doc, so declined I was!!! Does anyone have the Managers name and phone number or suggestions on which doctor I can switch too? I never requested to be transferred to Merker, a doc who only works until 3. The office is open until 8pm, I need a doctor who isn't swamped with patients, and who has time for me when I need.

My doctor is excellent but the wait times for booked appointments are horrendous. The timeslots for appointments are only 10 minutes and naturally every appointment goes over, causing everything to be delayed. Despite booking 1-2 weeks ahead, I am always waiting 30-40 minutes before actually being seen. This is frustrating as I often come before work and have been late to work multiple times now. They need to expand appointment time slots to at least 20 minutes to avoid this.

The front desk staff are the absolute pits. How they think its ok to have people conduct themselves in this manner is beyond me.

Been coming to see these doctors since 1985, when I was born. Great medical team and great doctors!

If I could rate this office less than a 1 star, I would. Ive been going to this doctors office for years and the low reviews unfortunately do not surprise me. I have an amazing family physician here however getting an actual appointment is nearly impossible. Its mid-June and no available appointments until mid/end AUGUST! I have been to walk-in clinics because of limited availability with my doctor in the past and have received notice that I will no longer be a patient at QSD if I do not utilize their services. More often than not, the receptionists are incredibly rude and they have also mixed up patient files more than once; my dad & late grandfather whom both have the same first/last name but VASTLY different birth years have been mixed up, and most recently I have had my file mixed up with a completely different patients file; the doctor was referencing HER file throughout my whole appointment and it wasnt until I read the incorrect name on my prescription that I realized the patient info is incorrect. The doctor explained that I needed to book an appointment for a completely unrelated matter and at first I was confused but now i understand - he was referring to the other patients file. All in all, I urge you to be cognizant when using this doctors office and if you have the option to go elsewhere, do it.
