They advertise the position for a full time tig welder/fitter but this isnt the place for anyone. Dilapidated tig machine; lack of leadership ability; over working employees while underpaying and not to mention biweekly wage cuts of $50 for benefits for a single person are just a few of the things intolerable about this organization. The environment is not worker friendly. For example; they need more weld curtains and better extraction systems for the fumes. Think twice before committing.

The welder fitter position have a very high turnover mainly because of the area youll be tig welding there isnt a second table for you to work on after tig welding youll have to polish the stainless steel a lot of areas using your hand (no power tool)ROCCO MUIA wants you to stand doing so which is bad ergonomically because of the height of your makeshift work table(HE SAW ME SITTING AND TOOK AWAY MY SEAT TOSSED IT INA CORNER SAYING YOU DONT DO THIS JOB SITTING)and I was polishing more efficiently that way, the tig welding machine is not the best, during the interview ROCCO MUIA kept repeating the most important thing is for me to show up barely said anything about what they do as a company not once was I shown an eye wash station or a station fill up your water container I doubt they have either, not enough weld curtains so youll always get arc flashes, they also do spray coating in the building with inadequate extraction vents Id advise welders age 18yrs - 40yrs to stay away from this place visit indeed you will find way better jobs with leaders wholl respect your hard work and a much better work environment and also youll have to pay $50 bi.weekly for a single person benefit thats way too much for such a company not to mention there isnt proper parking spots for the workers also the area where they keep the gas cylinders doesnt seem the safest, if you last more than 2 weeks here as welder its because you have a bad work history, literally cant do any better because of age reasons or you just dont value your worth. KNOW YOUR WORTH!!!! THANK ME LATER!!!!
