Extremely disappointed in this company. A friend of mine who is a dealer, recommended I open an account with Agway to start buying metal and fastening clips. I called and was transferred to Neil. I explained to him I wanted to open an account and buy some clips to start, his response immediately was Why would we sell you clips when youre a competitor? Along with some other remarks that were just no way acceptable for a first impression. He kept reiterating that Im a competitor and that they dont sell to the competition? The whole conversation was standoffish and very uncomfortable. This is an awful way to welcome and build relationships with the contractors in your area. Wake up Neil, everyone who buys from you is a competitor. If this is an acceptable conversation at this company, Im glad Im not opening an account. I have accounts with Vic West, MWI, Westman, Green Metal, Wiseline, + more. And Ive never been turned away the way this guy turned me away, and so quickly, over some fastening clips. After going back and forth about how ridiculous this is, I told him we should start over. I explained that I needed clips and would like to open an account to continue buying products. He told me he would send me a clip to verify the compatibility. This was obviously just a way for him to get off of the phone because i received an email the next morning after following up with him about the clip, his response was After speaking with you yesterday, we as a company have made the decision to not just sell clips. We have a proprietary system that we need to sell these clips for and we need to keep these in stock for our purposes. Ridiculous. Little does Neil know, I purchase around 250,000lbs of steel a year and he lost a potential account due to the nature of this. I wouldnt be surprised if dozens of other contractors have been turned away during a similar encounter. What a way to lose money. Hopefully HR or management takes this seriously because Im beyond blown away that I was turned away with not even a foot in the door. You will not have my business. 0/5 as far as Im concerned.

The interaction with this company was not pleasurable. A lot of work needs to be done within Management and HR at this company.

Worked here for 2 days and quit place is a joke. Bob the builder is the most arrogant person I have ever met.
