Mr.Sub

This is our favourite Mr.Sub! We've been 100% happy every single time. Not sure how, but they've managed to perfect giving the exact right amount of toppings. Plus, it's a super clean & cozy spot, there's ample parking, and the staff are incredibly friendly. :)

This past Friday (Apr 21st) our family ordered subs from this King George Rd. location via online ordering. I have done this a few times before, but this will most likely be the last time. I ordered at 5:31pm according to my email confirmation and it said it would be ready by 6:01pm. When I went in to pickup my order at 6:05pm, there was 1 other person waiting for their order to be finished up. No other customers were in the facility. I said I was there to pickup my online order and 2 of the workers seemed a bit bewildered as they could not find my order. They finally did (laying right on the counter by the register) and said it would be a few more minutes. They started my order at that time. I asked why they were just starting the order and 1 person behind the counter said they were busy and Fridays are always busy at this time. I did loose my cool, I will admit. The 2 workers making our meal were quick with the order but the guy that was telling me they were too busy (the one not wearing a uniform) did nothing to help them with our order and just stood there. The reason I lost my cool was this same thing happened a few weeks back when I came in to pickup my order and they again had not started it. I was not impressed with this happing a second time. The reason for ordering and paying online is to have it ready for when you arrive. I could have just went in and ordered it in person and it would have been faster. I ended up waiting for my order to get made anyways. I bet every Uber Eats, Skip and Doordash order was filled before I arrived though! No apologies, no coupon or here is a cookie for your trouble.

Are the buns shipped in a few days before? I work in the area and have tried your location a few times to give it the benefit of the doubt but I have yet to get a fresh bun. They are always crumbly and extremely dry. I'll take the extra time to drive to the Fairview location from now on. Waste of money

Cool that they have the deserts and stuff here. Place is clean. But I was taken aback when the (I presume) owner wouldn't let me put a few less toppings on half my sub so it would be a little more kid friendly for my 2yr old? Less toppings as in saving them money - instead wanting to charge double. Im not going to argue - just take the more toppings (costing them more) to then throw out some for no reason. Don't understand why we can't be flexible with policies if it's not costing them anything to make a customer happy and ensure they return.
