I worked with Jim on getting a mortgage for my first house. Being a first time home buyer, Jim took time to explain everything and answers all questions. Even when you call late in the evening, or even on a Sunday, Jim will always answer. His recommendations and advise worked out perfect. Without a doubt, he is extremely professional and ultimately the best! Even up until after we closed, he made sure we had everything we needed covered; from the Realtor he recommended, to communicating with the Lawyers, setting up property taxes with the city, everything was 100%! I would recommend Jim to anyone looking to buy their first house; even with the craziness in the housing market, Jim made it look so easy. I will definitely use Jim again, Hes AWESOME!!

After one month and a half of trying to get a mortgage approved by our bank and promises that everything was going well , one day , and only with 10 days left to the closing day, our bank advised us to look for a second option because "things were not looking to good for us", our real state agent recommended us Jim Thornton, and after only 5 business days he solved our very stressful situation and got the mortgage approved and at a very good rate also. Me and my husband are very much satisfied with Mr Jim Thornton professionalism and diligence and will forever be grateful for his genuine interest to solve our very scary situation....we almost loose this home and our dream . After being very disappointed with my bank and treatment received, I went online to see who I could reach out to and possibly deal with. On my search I found Jim and he had very positive reviews, so I reached out. I have to say it was the best decision I ever made, Jim is professional and straight forward. He was able to help out and guide me through the whole mortgage process, I would highly recommend him to anyone needing assistance with a new mortgage or a refinance, you will not be disappointed!
