Boden Electric Services

For my next solar generation project I will not be calling Boden Electric. Dealing with Boden has been frustrating to say the least. Calls not returned, emails ignored. We have received a quote for a generator installation in the fall of 2021. I was told by Terry Boden that it should be no issue to Install before the winter. That didnt happen - which I can understand. But it then took another several months, and ultimately it is still incomplete. Installation happened in the summer of 2022, but was still missing components. It is now 2023 and I have been trying to get Terry to install a wireless control unit which was part of the original quote and we paid for it over a year ago no. Terry doesnt bother returning my emails.

I would highly recommend Boden Electrical Services if you are considering any electrical project but specifically if your project is solar or generator related. There are a lot Master Electricians are out there but finding one that specializes in off-grid applications(most ME's won't have any interest or knowledge) is a rare find but exactly who you want to manage and build your system; this is Terry Boden's expertise. I can't stress enough how important it is to work with somene who is Off-Grid "end to end" knowledgeable, which inlcludes the installation of a high quality, diesel generator. Our winters just aren't condusive to year round, full time solar power and a generator becomes the backbone of any system in the winter so you want something very reliable. Don't let anyone talk you into anything different. I found out the hard way when my "back up" propane generator failed in the dead of winter, 4 months after it was installed. I called Terry and he installed my Perkins Diesel unit and fixed up some of the solar issues i was having, left behind from a previous "solar"contractor. The result of all of this; six years of carefree, off grid living and now i call Terry for all of my electrical needs and any maintainence i may need for my solar/genrator system.
