I came here to get a set of chrome nails done on my natural nails. The usual place I go to was closed so I thought I would try this out and hopefully have a second salon I could go to. I will NOT be coming back to this salon. They were very busy because I came in the week of Christmas which was why I chose a relatively simple design. I showed the girl the picture of what I wanted done. I have had chrome done on my nails several times and know how it is supposed to be done and how the girl did it is not correct. She didnt give me a base colour coat of black (or white Ive had both done). Instead she used the regular clear coat and then began rubbing the chrome onto it after curing the nails. Ummm what? When I asked if it would be more vibrant she said to me in an irritated voice that it needs several layers to be the colour I wanted. I thought Id give her the benefit of the doubt and see what happened. Terrible. I hated them. She continued doing a clear layer and rubbing on the chrome powder. By the time it was done I had 5 layers of nails polish/chrome powder. I shouldnt have tipped but because of the holidays I gave her one. I will never come back. Not only was it a waste of my money and a somewhat rude interaction, but the nails looked nothing like what I was hoping for and they were uneven, had bubbles in all of them and looked there were pits because the polish hadnt settled or had been built up in the same area. As well, after a week they began peeling off and chipping. Ive had my shellac last for 2+ weeks sometimes, depending on where I went. WASTE of $50. There is a reason they still had space at such a busy time and Ive learned that lesson. Ill include a picture of what I wanted and what I got. Services: Manicure, Nail designs
