Alex Harrison is as professional a musician as he is friendly, Alex is a versatile Guitarist who can teach Rock, Metal, Blues, Funk, Jazz, classical, acoustic Guitar and more. Alex is unlike any teacher I have had the pleasure of learning from. He is a patient, understanding, overall cool dude but he isn't afraid to push you to be a better player and he isn't afraid to call you out on your BS. If you are someone who wants to take music seriously or even someone who just wants to have a good time developing a new hobbie, Alex can help you reach your goals. In my experience Alex has been kind and hilarious in the most goofy ways. He is the one who helped me prepare for public performances as a younger kid, he helped me get into the music program at my high school as well as one of the school's jazz bands, he helped me start my own band and currently he is preparing me to get into Humber college to study jazz guitar. I am very grateful to learn the amazing things he knows in the welcoming environment he creates. If you or someone you know yearns to play (Electric or acoustic)guitar or bass guitar and you are able to commute to Alex, DO IT. If you pay attention, ask questions and practice it will be worth every nickel and it will show.

Ive been taking lessons with Alex for a few years now, hes a great teacher who always finds fun and engaging ways to help reach my goals. I noticed an improvement in my playing after a few lessons and my playing is significantly better now
