I cannot say enough good things about Duench Contractors. If you are looking for top quality products and workmanship, on time and on budget then Duench is the right choice. The only challenge is they are so busy, because they do such great work that you have to book them months in advance. John and Zak are the most honest individuals you will ever deal with. They have done 2 projects for us in our backyards at 2 different homes and both are without flaw years after completion. They are not cheap, but your get what you pay for and this company is worth the money, to know you are getting quality products, quality work and an honest contractor. You will be completely satisfied. Thank you John and Zak for all your excellent work, we truly appreciate it!! We used them in 2022, for a large deck rebuild with many add-ons. Phase one of our landscape project was a success, and we look forward to having Duench Contractors come back to realize our vision of the outdoor spaces surrounding our 1935 stone and brick house in "Old Westmount" neighbourhood of Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. Duench and other tradespeople worked collaboratively to not only complete their respective designs and work but to create the overall design plan from Brydges Landscape Architecture, too. Our house is situated on a corner lot which is adjacent to two other properties and a public sidewalk without setback from them, so it has been essential to balance the need for visibility, safety, privacy, and the protection of our property line boundaries. Not only has Duench seamlessly blended a new driveway, patio, and deck together while making the back yard appear larger, but he has optimized every square inch of our 40x40 rear yard to make it enjoyable and flow nicely from our garage and deck to our Thera pool, shed, garden beds, and gates. The Unilock pavers, deck materials, steppingstones, and vegetation in our landscape compliment the house and elevate the overall appearance of our property to a new level as does the new fencing and lighting. Their quality of work and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. They delivered what they promised, were on-time and within budget. They are very professional, creative, courteous, and communicative. The current results are beautiful, and as the vegetation becomes more established, it will be stunning. Beauty aside, it is truly a durable, maintainable, and environmentally responsible design.
