Attended an adult walk in stretch class expecting the "same old" stretch classes that I've been to before. It was amazing! Completely different and I learned a lot! I will definitely be dropping in for this class more often!

Ascension Dance is great. They have the best offering of adult recreational dance classes in the area. I register for weekly classes and have also taken some of their one-off drop in classes. There are multiple dance styles to choose from, my favourite is lyrical. The classes are not overly difficult, often time there are some individual moves that may be challenging but the teacher (Brianna) will give a choose your own difficulty option for those moves. So if you cant say, balance on your tippy toes, there is another move recommended that is easier and still looks good. Its a really inclusive class. Some of the adult students have been going for a long time, but there are often new people. Like any group activity, most people feel hesitant on their first day but after a few classes your body gets used to it and it is a really fun way to exercise and feel good. I highly recommend Ascension Dance. [The studio all has kid and teen classes, I've only experienced the adult classes]
