Milner Heritage House

The Milner House is a lovely little museum of Victorian/Chatham living but it's seen better days. When I went most of the interesting items had been moved to the Museum in the Cultural Centre down the road. There was still a lot to be talked about; however our guide, though she really did try her best, didn't have much information outside of the booklet they were given, which mostly contained info about the removed items and not much else. It was very enjoyable to walk through the house and get a little look into the lives of the Milner's and life during that time, it was just a shame that it wasn't all that educational.

Great little museum, gives you a sense of the Victorian way of life at the turn of the 20th century. This museum, the cultural center across the street, and Tecumseh Park is a great way to spend an afternoon for grown ups or kids

Amazing museum with such interesting exhibits. In all my years having lived in the area, hadn't visited this place until recently and recommend it highly. Today was a blast and our guided tour was incredible.
