Great Canadian Oil Change

Although the technicians may appear to know what they're doing by yelling out all their entertaining call outs, they clearly did not. After this oil change I noticed my van was getting intermittent oil pressure related codes. I thought this was strange since the van is very low kilometers, so I decided to change the oil myself to verify it was done right even though it wasn't due for another oil change. Upon removing the oil filter, I found that it was not installed properly. The filter should be pushed onto the cap until it clicks and then installed into the housing. Great Canadian oil change had pushed the filter into the housing and then installed the cap causing the system to over pressure and ultimately not get filtered properly if at all. If you had your oil changed here and you have a vehicle that's 2011 or newer with a 3.6 penstar motor chances are your filter is not installed properly. Hopefully it doesn't damage your engine or cost you a trip to the dealership. It only cost me about an extra hundred dollars or so, so I guess I got lucky. Service: Oil change
