Lakeside Inn, Restaurant & Bar

We were there for a family event that was happening near by. Not too many options around. It was clean but a little dated. Smoke detector went off both nights without warning just while sleeping. Hallways smelled damp. Toiletries in the bathroom were just shampoo, didn't think to pack our own soap. TV didn't work, Wifi was spotty. Restaurant was never open during our stay. But we were just there to sleep and as far as necessities went we were OK. For the price and location it was worth missing out on the usual luxuries of a nicer place.

Was up in the area for a funeral. Need place to stay, the manager was great to deal with. Had to see about late check out. I didn't get back at the time I thought we would, but she was good about it, didn't even charge for the late check out. We had a great stay at the Lakeside Inn. We arrived early and they were very accommodating letting us get our room early. They made us a great dinner including desert and again the next morning provided us breakfast. They offered us a late check out so we could go snowmobiling and have a comfortable place to change. Thank you so much ladies, we will be back.
