I had done a consumer proposal as my debts were becoming too much after a divorce. I had a debt with this company that was included in my consumer proposal....which I have listed in my proposal. The proposal was granted and the debt I had that NCCSI was collecting on, interest was to be stopped and no derogatory remarks to be added to my credit report. Well a year later I get a notification that I have a new entry on my credit report. I dont know if this is legal but they sold my debt(as collection agency's always do) to another collection agency and now it's hitting negatively on my credit yet it is or supposedly included in my proposal. Now going back and fourth has become a headache.

I received a call from this collection agency in regards to a dental bill. I had moved and the dental bill was not sent to my new address. I accepted it was my mistake that there were outstanding portions owing after insurance was not covering all costs, to my dismay I was unaware I could've went back to the dentist and paid them directly HUGE mistake! I agreed to pay the agency and they sent a letter stating it was paid and that this would not hit my credit reports as I was able to pay them and settle in a timely manner. To my surprise six months later this was posted to my credit report. When I reached out to the company they avoided returning my calls and when I called back and stated I had a copy of the letter they responded rather quickly with an email response that it was a "system error" and sent just the letter with no response to my questions. I suggest keeping a close eye on your reports if you have dealt with this company at all. I will be watching and waiting for respectful professional responses and for this to clear from my report, hopefully sooner then later. Malanie was unresponsive, avoided all questions and has sent the letter twice with information I have asked to be updated. While Laurie was helpful and willing to assist, I am sorry for her that she has to deal with clients while "supervisors" avoid communication.
