I have hired Conceptos Construction Corporation to carry out concrete work at my home. A contract was signed on May 9, 2018. The contract was completed on October 4, 2018. Unfortunately, due to one reason or other, there was an unprecedented delay in completing the contract. The initial contract was for Exposed Aggregate Concrete. We have provided the company several pictures of the concrete work we expected to bring the final results. The chief of this corporation, Juan Carlos Valazquez, agreed that the final product would be according to the photos. He made several attempts to produce the expected result. Unfortunately, he was trebly failed to do that. Ultimately, to avoid further delay in completing the job, I agreed to accept Stamped Concrete without changing the contract price. He completed Stamped Concrete job on October 4, 2018. On that occasion, Conceptos gave me a written warranty of six years for the material and the workmanship. After few weeks of the completion of the contract, the disastrous results of his shoddy workmanship started surfacing: the concrete work started showing large cracks all over. A portion of the driveway was severely broken. The layer of the stamped concrete started peeling off. The peeling off spots was as big as two square feet The whole stamped concrete started discoloration, The section of the concrete work got raised by 1.5inch. Making it dangerous to walk on the driveway. The concrete steps leading to the basement were getting chipped off, making it dangerous to walk. I am sharing few photos to make the readers appreciate the seriousness of the issue. I am a retiree and put all my savings into this project. Each time I look at the results, I feel like crying. The corporation owner, Juan Carlos Velazquez, is not responding, although hundred of phone calls, text messages, emails were sent to him.
