AGO Premium Kitchens

EDIT: After a few months our floors began to fail. We are trying to get a response from the Ago Kitchen team and their contractors, but so far we haven't been able to get anywhere. The kitchen is built on top of the floors - does this mean after two years our kitchen will have to be gutted? Original review: We are thrilled with our new kitchen from Ago Kitchens. Their service and attention to detail were excellent, and any concern or issue along the way was always met with "no problem, we're going to make it perfect for you." Exemplary attitude and problem resolve - they even went so far as to arrange to have our hood custom cut to accommodate my extra-tall sight-lines. Their design sensibility is second-to-none; the colours, patterns and materials were seemingly pulled from our own subconscious. And one of our favourite parts of the process was when they came to our home and took the time to ask us how we use the space, how we like to cook and entertain, and even took an inventory of our kitchen items in order to design the best possible environment. Kudos to the Ago Kitchen team - they are wonderful. Highly recommended!

We loved our experience with AGO Premium Kitchens from our initial meeting with Olga to design and installation.Our designer Sara came up with a practical and beautiful deign for our kitchen & was with us every step of the project. The installation team were professional and detailed and never made us feel rushed. Olga managed our project smoothly and made sure every detail was taken care of. Great team to work with, highly recommend them.

Our 30-year-old home needed extensive master/main bathroom and kitchen renovations to update original builder quality materials and design. We have a large 6-person family and we frequently host extended family gatherings. We were looking for a premium look and feel at a reasonable cost delivered on time. We had some concerns jumping into this large project because of the duration and cost. We are detail-oriented and appreciate that same quality in others but didnt know if we could find a design team that shared the same values. We also wanted to support our local Canadian economy and purchase Canadian products as much as possible. We bought Canadian made bathroom fixtures, hardware, counter-top and North American kitchen appliances. We explored the standard Houzz.com, Google and Yelp reviews, went to the 2019 Home Show and selected over 15 companies for more detailed research. We generated a 30-page slide deck that contained various images of bathrooms and kitchens as design inspirations. We sent this final package to 5 different renovation companies to generate initial estimates. These estimates varied widely and many of the companies were unwilling to visit our home for an onsite interview. For a reasonable fee, Olga and Sara from AGO Premium Kitchens came onsite to get to know us better and learn more about our tastes and style preferences. No other designer offered this service. AGO Premium Kitchens presented the best proposal, with mid-range cost and overall schedule. We chose AGO for their attention to detail. Olga and Sara went through every design, colour choice, layout and configuration to generate the most accurate drawings and final contract price. AGO acted as liaison with their recommended contractors for the demolition, electrical, plumbing, millwork construction and finish carpentry. We were simply responsible for purchasing the bathroom fixtures, tiling, counter tops, lights, hardware and appliances. We divided the work into two distinct contracts: main and master bathrooms September 2019 and kitchen March 2020. Throughout both projects, Olga and Sara kept the lines of communication open and were clear when unforeseen circumstances required design changes. This happened in our kitchen when demolition revealed a set of pipes that would be costly to move. The AGO team suggested some slight design changes that easily worked around the problem and the project was back on schedule. Both projects started on time and the bathroom project completed in one month, exactly on schedule. The kitchen renovation started right before as COVID-19 hit and AGO went through extraordinary measures to keep that project running and on schedule. Incredibly, the entire project finished on time, despite all the disruptions to home construction in Ontario. We are thrilled with all renovations and now feel that our home is fresh and modern. The kitchen and bathrooms are stylish and elegant, with much more useable space. Each room now has a design focus that is calming and pleasing to the eye. These spaces have become a pleasure to use. The results speak for themselves and can be seen on AGOs website.
