We used DC Granite last summer and are STILL waiting for a response as to why the quartz countertops they installed scratch and scuff when so much as a plate is placed on it (see images of the edges of our sink). We were told by Genio that we should use a magic eraser to clean it off....... every time we use our kitchen??? We are EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the customer service we have received, and feel we have been cheated out of our hard-earned, money.

We have been trying to have someone look at the counter that was installed in our condo since JUNE 2020. We paid for quartz because we learned it was the most durable, however, if we put so much as the toaster on the counter, or even a bowl, it leaves marks that are difficult to remove. We contacted the company many times and waited weeks at time for a response. We are still waiting to hear what can be done. That said, the people who came to install the counter were very professional and friendly. It's incredibly disappointing that we paid for a product that clearly is not what we paid for. Still hoping to have some help with this as we renovated our condo and hate to see that the counter is in such rough shape after all of our hard work.

Beware of this company! For background, DCGranite installed the kitchen sink four years ago in my condo unit, as they were contracted by the original builder. I bought this unit in January and currently live here. A few days ago, the sink unfortunately detached from the granite countertop and we contacted DCGranite to see if they could provide repair service. We were then asked to provide full payment up front at a ridiculous cost vs. other quotations I received for the job (DCGranite was charging almost DOUBLE the price). Not only was there no discount even though they did the original installation, but only upon receipt of payment (e-transfer) would a service date then be scheduled. This is very shady as I have no idea why we should have to pay up front with no official invoice/quotation and only then schedule a date when my sink failed due to their workmanship. Upon following up with DC and mentioning the workmanship, we were told that "there was nothing wrong with the [original] workmanship and they do not appreciate our comments". This was very unprofessional with very poor customer service. How could workmanship be determined when an inspection was not even done with any visit to see the condition of the failure? No lower price was ever offered either as the "General Manager" did not respond to our emails after this exchange. With those red flags, we ended up with another company doing the sink reattachment and repair and they confirmed that the sink was likely installed under suboptimal conditions (either the granite countertop surface was not clean, or the sink surface was wet/there was moisture, or something else) and the original silicone did not attach properly to the countertop with it completely separating from the sink and the entire bead layer being stuck to the granite by itself. They also mentioned there were no securing edges/lips on the counter cabinet, nor was there any epoxy used to secure the sink. With this very negative experience, I cannot recommend DCGranite and Marble's services at all with their especially poor customer service, unprofessionalism, poor value, and previous quality of the work done.
