Awful construction quality. No care in the world about what they build and they get away with it due to the current Toronto market. Save yourself headaches and go with more reputable builders. UPDATE: The builder asked to get contacted but has not provided any contact details.

Poor engineering quality, Emerald Park Condos on Yonge/Shep flooded twice now, maintenance fees are through the roof. 100% unacceptable Stay away from Bazis buildings or risk losing all your property and investment value

I wish I could give 0 stars but it, unfortunately, isn't an option. Used to live at 1 Yorkville ave. (a building they "built"). - First of all, the condensation problem inside the unit is so bad that we all deal with serious and increasing mold problems *pleasant for a new building right?*... -The toilet paper holders in the bathroom fall off the wall for half of the units * 50% of my neighbors had the same problem*... -The power outlets on the outside walls lets cold air in in the winter which makes it difficult to keep the unit warm (insolation should be a concept a so called "builder" knows about ) -The elevator are constantly broken *sometimes for days, sometimes for weeks* -The outdoor pools still do not pass inspection from the city after 2 summers (so do not expect a swimming pool, which was one of the selling points) -The cold/hot plunges are constantly broken (Expect to use it about 45% of the time if you are lucky) I would suggest running *not walking* if you are about to rent/buy anything those people built.

These people built 1 Yorkville. There are so many build quality issues. Elevators go out of service for 1 month at a time. All windows have severe condensation issues. Every piece of drywall has flaws, every corner is has flaws. Poor unit planning means that the default vanities they offer have clearance issues with door jambs. Their interior sliding doors bash on things. They offered us hardwood upgrade; we got it; it is the flimsiest hardwood I've ever seen; I actually think it has equivlaent quality to a 4mm thick LVP. With respect to windows, their warranty manager claims they keep their house at a fixed temperature (within 1 degree), fixed humidity (within 2%) at all times, and that we are not doing things right. Guess what? We've lived at 3 other condos downtown, none of them have this issue. I would not buy a condo from Bazis again. Not trust worthy.
