The older woman at this store is incredibly rude and insensitive. She watched my two year old pick up and examine 2 packaged candies and said we had to buy both because "she doesnt know where those hands have been". I understand the concern around covid, but my entire family including my two year old was wearing a mask AND THIS LADY WASN'T. Brutal service. However, the younger girl working is wonderful, thank-you.

Avoid this place! Owner is rude and snotty! I feel bad for her staff they looked terrified working with her. First visit to Mitchells Bay and we popped in for ice cream. We sat at the counter and placed cash on the counter to pay. She scolded my husband for starting to eat his ice cream before the clerk rang it through. She then told us we could not stay inside due to her rules, and how she cant get sick so she kicked us out. We sat outside, then noticed not one single garbage can to be found. I had to go back inside and found a tiny little can. There was a big sign however, no public washroom which I believe if you are serving food you have to have a washroom available. This tells you what kind of owners they are, spend you money here and leave! Anybody that says she is nice must be related to her. Wont ever step foot in there again.
