Really enjoyed a May long weekend stay here. Lots of great hiking in the area. As well as incredible restaurants in Dundas. It's in the perfect spot and Brett has throught through each detail to make The Highacre an incredible and memorable retreat. Can't wait to go back.

Worth every penny! My mom and I stayed here for a mother daughter night and even though we were only here one night we left the next day feeling completely refreshed and relaxed! This is a historic home located in a beautiful neighbourhood in Dundas thats been completely renovated and converted into a fourplex wellness retreat owned and run by a couple that live on site. The private sauna and steam room is seriously next level - especially as introverts, but theres also lots of shared spaces like the hot tub, pool, and outdoor/indoor seating areas. For my fellow germ conscious people, everything was spotless and sparkling upon arrival. The place was so clean! We stayed in the grightmire which is on the main floor (and very spacious!) We love that they thought of every last detail from the fresh flowers, to the pillow spray, diffuser, soaps and lotions - which are all made by their own aromatherapist who personally crafted each blend - to the fresh croissants that were ready to be baked in the morning (along with fresh eggs, jam, milk, and butter). They even had meditations on bar codes near each relaxing space for you to take advantage of (one on the bedside table, one in the sauna, and 4 in the yoga studio) Its the perfect overnight escape that will leave you feeling refreshed and renewed! You dont need to bring much and we definitely felt so taken care of. If you were on the fence, book it! You wont regret it.

Recently stayed in the Stotnick suite for 2 nights as a getaway for my husbands birthday. The High Acre was a wonderful place to stay, and every little detail was considered. The room and amenities were clean. I love that the room came with its own saunas, own kitchen, record player, TV, LED face masks, robes etc! We didnt need to leave the room! The High Acre also offered a yoga class in the morning, which was nice! Hoping they will keep that going. The estate also has a pool, hot tub, and shared spaces (indoor/outdoor). Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate so we did not get to use it. Brett was a wonderful host. Very attentive and super nice! We also met his mom, who helps out and she was so wonderful as well. I cannot say enough great things, you need to experience it yourself. Highly recommend and wish The High Acre continued success.
