I cannot speak enough on how much I appreciate all of the renos done to our home! Maz & his team took the time to listen to our vision, give their professional input and then bring it to life. We are so grateful for their attention to detail! We look forward to making memories in our beautiful home!!!

Mak7even started a fire in our condo while working on a project. Their workers did not have a key to our unit and they left the premises unlocked against our instructions. While away, they left a heat gun running that started a fire while our pets were inside the condo unit. The fire displaced our family from our home for 4 months during which my wife gave birth to our twins prematurely at an Airbnb where we set up a temporary nursery instead of in the comfort of our own home. We had to move multiple times during this time which is obviously stressful when youre close to giving birth. We lost many items that can not be replaced in the fire such as souvenirs from around the world, university degree, baby ultrasound photos and many other items with sentimental value. We wrote hundreds of emails to insurance companies, restoration companies, condo board, renovation companies, emergency cleanup companies, storage companies etc. Additionally, we spent countless hours discussing these matters with the said companies. We had to deep clean and paint our condo due to smoke damage, replace all our floors, electronics and our furniture, arrange deliveries for all these items, book elevators and take time off from work to be home to receive them and then spend time assembling them. As a standard procedure, all salvageable items were taken to storage and were returned in almost 100 separate boxes that took several days to unpack and put back in place. The fire caused massive inconvenience and stress to us during time thats already stressful. Once we settled back to our restored condo, we contacted Mak7even and asked for a partial refund for the project to compensate the horrible experience we went through due to the catastrophic end to the project. To our astonishment, their response was that theyre not willing to compensate us in any way. We couldnt believe the cold response and complete lack of empathy from them. Our aggravation regarding this matter continues due to them not being willing to be reasonable or negotiate and are now forced to go legal route regarding this matter.
