Upon visiting the clinic for an ultrasound, I encountered a technician of Asian descent who not only appeared to lack the necessary skills and expertise to perform the procedure effectively but also exhibited a level of incompetence that bordered on insulting. Her dismissive attitude and failure to demonstrate adequate knowledge left me questioning her qualifications and overall ability to perform her job. As I attempted to guide her to the specific area of discomfort, she stubbornly insisted on adhering solely to the instructions provided by my primary care physician on the referral form. My efforts to clarify that my concerns and the doctor's notes were one and the same were met with a level of obtuseness that was nothing short of infuriating. Despite my growing frustration, the technician persisted in targeting areas based on her misguided interpretation of the written documentation, blatantly ignoring my valuable input as the patient. This experience left me wondering how someone with such a glaring lack of critical thinking skills and adaptability could possibly secure a position in the healthcare field. Her inability to employ a patient-centered approach not only added insult to injury but also highlighted the glaring inadequacies of her professional abilities. A more attentive and receptive attitude would have been appreciated, taking into account my concerns and utilizing common sense in order to provide a more satisfactory experience.

I didn't go through with the appointment and had it cancelled. The reason being is that I called back to the front desk reception, and the receptionist told me to hang up listen to the voicemail left behind instead of doing her duty to see why they called. I also was put on hold for 3 mins as soon as they picked up. If they front desk doesn't care, I don't see why they would care to take care of my health.
