Dr Oza provided me with some great tools that helped with stress management and were an excellent starting point for my journey to a healthier and more conscious living. The mindfulness classes guided by Lauren Brown were very well suited for beginners, and yoga classes led by Janika are still the best form of yoga I've ever experienced. I strongly recommend checking in with Dr Oza, because I believe that by getting help from Dr Oza today, you could be eliminating the need for seeing a specialist for a more severe problem in the future.

Dr.Oza at Mindful Medicine has been a gift. This month marks 6 months since I began weekly, 30 minute meetings with her. Among many qualities I admire, the three that stand out are that Dr.Oza is a good listener (I feel heard and understood). She genuinely cares (she has not given up on me inspite of my slow progress) and she brings with her years of experience as a physician as well as keeps herself and I (where relevant), informed of all the current improvements in the realm of health and wellbeing. Earlier this year Dr. began with understanding my lifestyle, eating and sleeping habits and most importantly my reason for seeing her. Sessions after were a combination of realistic plans/goal setting where healthy eating, sufficient sleep, a healthy social life among others were the focus. Not only have I discovered the benefits of eating healthily, but I'm reaping the benefits. 6 months ago, I had high cholesterol and a number of other high counts, today, my counts are in the normal range. Biomarkers don't lie. Small changes have had a big impact. For a young woman, who thought she knew what she was doing, I had to unlearn and accept that I knew very little indeed! I have developed a range of good habits thanks to Dr.Oza (and learned a whole lot), and I look forward, as with any good habits, to persevere to strengthen them. More than anything, for the first time in my life, I feel like I'm on the right track. Thank you Dr.Oza, I look forward to another healthy year. Best wishes, Dani

Such a brilliant practice! Mindful medicine has really good principles and doing their weight loss and lifestyle course has really helped to change mine and my husbands mindset around food and diet. It helps you to build a solid foundation for healthy eating that is sustainable and manageable. The concept trains and teaches you how to eat more mindfully. Ive tried working with personal trainers in the past and many diets that I found werent sustainable, and after losing weight, I put it back on. But with mindful medicine I have managed to sustain my weight loss and diet. Doing the weight loss course taught me so much about healthy eating, what to eat, exercise, sleep and lifestyle! They are all things I try to incorporate into my daily lifestyle and share with family so that they can see positive changes too. Its great to know that eating more mindfully can also help with your overall health too. Ive already noticed differences in my health and well being from taking Dr Ozas advice! I would recommend working with mindful medicine to everyone who wants to see positive changes in their weight, health and lifestyle.
