        Beautiful place, but did not even get a total of 20' into the main trail before we were covered in 25~ presumed dog/ deer ticks. We spent more time attempting to make sure we didn't have any more ticks on us than we did on the actual trail. The trail was mowed down to make a walking path and we did not have a dog with us. We did not stray from the trail either. Hopefully we can come back someday when the tick problem has been dealt with, but honestly at this time we are very fearful. The trail sign stated the trail opened on May 15th from dusk until dawn, we started our hike around 1:30 p.m. this past Sunday.
