Ordered here Saturday morning and food was delicious! The owner was very friendly and had my food ready even before she opened. Very appreciated!!Omelette with home fries and rye toast. If you're new to the town, the new address is on 259 Hillside Drive South - the gps took me to their old address on Newfoundland Drive.

Anderson's is your down home community fixture. It doesn't take long for the friendly staff and owner to greet you by name. Anderson's has the best french fries in town. Believe me, I have tried them everywhere. The gravy can't be beat. If I have the chance to take my lunch break at a restaurant, Anderson's is my first and only choice. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are definitely more than every other eatery in Elliot Lake. Don't expect fancy decor or preferential treatment, everyone is equal. You get a table to eat at, very friendly service and a clean bathroom to wash up before you eat. Anderson's sticks to a menu and it's a menu that I think has something everyone will enjoy. The awesome cook who happens to be the owner has noticeably perfected every dish. Don't be afraid to ask for something you might not see on that menu, she will accommodate you with the best of her abilities. I will gladly trade a flashy environment with elevator muzak for the high quality food and service you will find at Anderson's. I have never left there hungry and sometimes had to skip dinner. *edit* The dish in my picture is the Mushroom burger. It was loaded with mozzarella and sauteed mushrooms and a substantial hand made beef patty. The side of fries come standard. I added the gravy.
