Really enjoyed my morning coffee and pastry here. The pastel de nata was delicious, as were the other baked goods I tried. The cappuccino was lovely too. Looking forward to trying more pastries here. Will definitely be back.

I went in to this place and experienced the worst customer service, I felt alienated by my skin colour. The cashier asked me what I wanted but I asked her for a second as I hadnt decided yet. She said what, so I repeated myself but the same ordeal went on three times. She finally said she couldnt understand my accent. I do not have accent. When I was repeating myself it was clear she wasn't even trying to listen as she kept talking over me. If the owner reads this the cashier I had was a white female with brown hair. I came in on Friday morning (August 23) around 10 am. I sincerely hope you reconsider this individuals involvement with this bakery for the sake of your customers.

*UPDATE: Feb 2023: Is this place even open? They are now regularly closed Mon/Tue/Wed, and today (Thursday) they were also closed! *UPDATE Oct 2022: the new and improved-looking bakery DOES make donuts now! (Cherry turnovers are what I miss the most, tho. For the record, these were the most sought-after pastries in the neighbourhood, and I used to fight to get there early, and get fresh ones.) I do wish them well in our neighbourhood!
