If youre in the area, give this store a chance and take a peek inside - even if what you see in the shop window is not completely your cup of tea. That was also my case - Im not a particularly fancy / elegant dresser, more sporty and no fuss. After walking by the shop many times, I was finally pulled inside by a pair of brown leather lace up boots for only 50 $. Since then I discovered they stock a little bit of everything, not only elegant outfits and special occasion dresses. They also have leggings, gloves, sweaters and tops galore, plus some shoes and even PJs. It is a little bit like Winners, and the prices are great. Besides the boots I already bought their slippers, two dressy tops, a tie-dye sweatshirt, and a few pairs of gloves. You might just find what you need, right in the neighborhood.

I wouldnt recommend anyone buying at this store. From the moment I walked in I felt like I was racially profiled and felt uncomfortable. They just kept following me, and this other lady suddenly ran out of her office just to see what we were doing. They started speaking in their native language and then the lady was like you never know while looking at us. The short lady was nice but the other lady who looked like the owner was like she wasnt even trying to hide it that she thought we were gonna steal something. It was just a weird experience all together. I didnt want to buy and just walked out while being polite as possible. Just the body language, the expressions and the actions was just unwelcoming.

Fancy Boutique has some great selections and great prices. These black fleece lined leggings are a bit too short for myself but so comfortable, I just hide my bare shins and ankles with thick and long winter socks and my hiking boots. Ive caught a few men checking out my buttocks on my walks along the Lakeshore lol These pants cost $20 and would be better suited for someone 5 foot tall as opposed to 54. The second pair of purple Terrera track pants I purchased were also $20 and they are worn out from wearing them nearly every day since I bought them! Just dont gain weight after you find such a favourite! Ive included a photo of the bottom of the pants which I like because it doesnt cut off your circulation and I can wear them over my hiking boots as opposed to tucked into the boots. The owner (female) had the Terreras at Christmas time. She was sold out when I went back a few weeks later to enquire about purchasing the same Terrera joggers in black. Ideally, I would have loved to have 5 pairs! This organic bamboo fabric is very expensive if you shop for this brand at The Bay, for example. You may have better luck finding this brand on Amazon. At any rate, Terrera is now my fav clothing brand, hands down. The owner of Fancy Boutique was so kind, she took down my phone number in case she has a chance to purchase this brand in the future.
