Large store. The place is very dusty and dirty. Sometimes the cashiers are nice. Too expensive for the local customers. It can get very over crowded here, especially the front where the fruits and vegetables are. A staff member at the changing room gave me attitude for why I had picked a pink teddy bear boy pants. If a customer wants to try on and buy cloths of the same or opposite gender, the staff shouldn't judge the customers who are paying.

UPDATE MAY 23: Posted sign at front entrance reads that they are renovating. I haven't noticed any differences just yet. UPDATE MAY 8: Doesn't Customer Service ever answer the phone? UPDATE FEB. 14, 2023: No winter hats, scarves or gloves/mitts here as replacements if you lost any. Spring has sprung in this store despite this still being in cold winter. Good thing that Dollarama knows it's still winter and keeps stock on hand. UPDATE Nov 30: Despite the Google listing, there hasn't been a Portrait Studio at this location for over two years. UPDATE Nov. 1: I am so happy with the Photofinishing Centre at the back of the store, including the helpful staff. Sometimes there are problems with those machines. UPDATE OCT. 19, 2022: I broke down and HAD to use the self checkout. The staff member was not helpful with instructions and then just walked away, looking at his cell phone. UPDATE OCT. 11, 2022: In the section where meats and poultry were reduced, there was very little available proportionately compared to the LONG counter of the stock on display. The discounts weren't much, e.g. $3 off a $12 (25% off) package of chicken with the best before date of tomorrow. Disappointing. Very few reductions in fruits and vegetables either. There is so much food insecurity in Toronto. The day before expiry, at this store the meat is reduced by 25%. If not sold on the expiry date the next day, the meat is thrown out. That's their policy. Why couldn't the discount be 50%? The Competition Bureau should investigate this store that's supposed to offer low prices. Why can't this store reopen the Fitting Rooms? Not fair to customers! It bothers me that the area where the cleaning supplies, detergents, toilet paper, etc. are displayed at the back of the store always smells strongly of chemicals, as if toxic-smelling products had been opened and spilled onto the floor. It bothers my nose and would likely bother others with allergic sensitivities. Store staff should search to find out the source of the strong chemical smells and clean it up for the customers! UPDATE: Boys' XL Sizes 14-16 shirts, sweatshirts, etc. are rarely available at this store. What are kids in that age group supposed to wear? I found three different styles of tops in that size today and bought two of them. Kids grow and they need choices of what to wear. It happens far too often that boys' clothing in this size is unavailable in this store and that's truly unfair to customers. (As of May 23, still a problem!) The Cashier today, after a long line-up, was friendly and excellent, including carefully folding those tops before placing them in the Walmart shopping bag that I had to buy. That's customer service and worth the wait instead of using the self-service checkouts that eliminate cashiers' jobs. PREVIOUS POST: For many months, it has been necessary to use the automated self-service checkouts instead of checking out with the friendly cashiers in the two available lines. It's quite often a very long wait as a result. I would much rather that a Cashier handle my transactions and want the Walmart Cashiers to be able to retain their jobs, not to be replaced by machines. It upsets me. This is really unfair to the staff members there and also to the customers because sometimes we have come to know these helpful, cheerful staff members. They offer great customer service! If I phone this store, it is very rare that anyone in the Customer Service area will actually answer the phone. The staff members at this store are very good, friendly and helpful. The Store Manager is the most hard-working person in that position that I have ever seen in any store. So often, I have seen him stocking shelves instead of just sitting in an office. He's amazing. I'll keep shopping there but the checkouts situation is annoying to me even though I see other stores following suit. Huge free parking lot. Easy access by multiple roads leading into Rexdale Plaza. I highly recommend shopping at this store even though some of their policies bother me.

Some Walmart Supercentre employees were really friendly and helpful, but others were not. The store was well-organized and offered a large range of products at reasonable pricing. Despite the inconsistent service, it's definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a good shopping experience.

Disgusting managers. Cant do a simple return without receipt for an item under $50. Need to learn their own policies. Rude.
