The kids program has been a life changer for both of my kids. Aside from the physical improvement and overall health, theyve grown a strong sense of confidence, self worth and awareness of what it means to be healthy. They push themselves every class which gives them the mental fortitude to push through every day challenges and gives them the advantage to compete at school and on their sports teams. My kids come to this program as a means of training in their baseball off season. Since theyve started training at Fit1 they have increased their focus and confidence to compete with other kids, so much so that they are now 2 of the strongest and dominant players on their teams. Theres nothing out there that compares to this program for kids and no one else like Len. The dedication Len makes to his members is reflected in the commitment and the kids bring to each class. They work hard, have fun and make new friends. Thanks Len!

Regarding the KID'S PROGRAM (Fit Kids) My kids review: ITS GREAT! My COVID update: During lockdowns my kid still worked out, he got stronger and creative (such as parkour in the house), and kept up his energy and motivation during this profoundly boring and lonely time. All on his own. Because of Fit1. Len is with us every day, on-line with custom workouts on zoom, youtube and email, even when the gym is closed. Len, you have my deepest thanks and utmost RESPECT My parent review: Fit1 is a true WORKOUT GYM FOR OLDER KIDS. I searched for two years and visited every gym until I found this incredible place for my son. Thank God I didnt give up - 100% success. To clarify - the Youth-Fit program at Fit1 is NOT a "gym class." It is a high-quality, full-on cross-fit workout, providing professional equipment and professional body development for age 10-15, under the direction of a master bodybuilder. And with joy for both girls and boys - think of the the way you feel at a great party or pick-up game with your good friends. In our case my son didnt really gel with either Martial Arts or team sports - mean and mouthy kids, or too much waiting and down-time, or he needed skills, expenditures and time that I couldn't provide for him to be competitive (single mom). Kids "group" programs, on the other hand, seemed baby-ish and often run by immature leaders. About age 9 my son said that he'd like to work out with weights at a regular gym. I was so happy to hear that! I was worried about all the scary news about depression and obesity in kids and teenagers. You cant blame the kids - screen-time is endless and seductive - but I felt my duty is to give my child the BEST CHANCE for self-pride and good health as he got older. But business-gyms would not allow kids to work out. Understandable but sad. Those places that offered kids' classes, produced random schedules with no concept of consistency or self-discipline. In comes Len. I didnt know anything about him or the gym but I called to take a shot & see he could be my kids personal trainer (we were already defeated & my son didnt want to go anywhere). Len said NO, but MAYBE he could join the YouthFit class. Huh? Len said THE OPPOSITE of all the other gyms, that were pressuring me to sign-up and dazzle me with memberships. At Fit1 we had to go in for a meeting first; I guess for Len to evaluate our personality and sincerity. Len did not want our money. He wanted to see if he could work WITH us. I admit I was put-off and nervous. We did not get a yes-or no-answer, just a trial class. Which led to a tentative yes, because now I realize that its very hard to tell whether a kid is willing and able to try their best. Fast-forward three years here we are still. Today my son is self-motivated, highly skilled, super-strong, positive, self-disciplined and gorgeous. He works hard, and Im not involved at all. The accomplishment is humbling. I COULD NOT BE A HAPPIER OR PROUDER PARENT. It was hard for me to write these reviews because the gift here is overwhelming and hard to put to words. So I'm saying that you should try Fit1 if your girl or boy needs fitness or even if your kid is shy or scared or limited or needs help with their confidence. Dont forget that our kids are quickly becoming young men and women they worry about their appearance and constantly see adults working out and showing off their bodies, which I think is pretty intimidating. And then kids get to this age where they need to feel respected and treated with the same civility as adults. They dont want to be forced and cannot be talked-down to because they have all the information out there and they are smart enough to see the difference between an expert and a babysitter. They need to be safe, secure, and have a fun time. They need a sensitive adult to notice their struggles. But I also think that kids need the serious expertise and pushing that only a master can provide; someone to truly help them realize their potential. Len gives them ALL THAT. Your child will flourish.
