Was referred to a Ductless rep, Richard Haberfellner, to help us install a ductless unit, and an entirely new HVAC system (Carrier Heat Pump System). Richard brought in a guy who was not very good, and started to install the ductless system in the wrong location, and in the end Richard fired him. He left holes in my walls both on the interior and exterior, and never offered to repair them. He then brought in a better crew for the whole install. Overall they were professional and helpful. In the end though, they walked away with a ton of unfinished items after I paid.Buyer beware should have withheld payment, but I was acting in good faith. Richard doesn't seem to believe operating in a professional manner. When I asked him about extras like installing exhaust vents for two bathrooms, they just flat out said they don't do it, so I had to find someone else. Every HVAC installer does vents, not sure why this crew didn't. The installer also left the finishing off of basement vents and cold air return for the basement, to be done when the framing as done. They have ignored my requests to come back. When I asked about a gas connection for my bbq and said the connection doesn't work, they said it wasn't their problem. And to top it off, the brand new system we spent a ton of money installing, doesn't heat to the desired temp when it gets a few degrees below zero. He came to look at it and said it's working fine, and it's not - when it's -10 outside, we can't get the inside above 20 degrees. So I have to find a new HVAC person to help me fix all of the mess that Richard left behind. Terrible experience overall. Used ductless.ca in my Toronto location also. they did my 2 office spaces with heat pumps. Great clean service. Systems working great ! Very personal and professional service.
