Just spent the long weekend there and was absolutely beautiful even despite the rain, the cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed to still have a great weekend. Rooms: My husband and I absolutely loved the staying in cabin 6. This cabin is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a couple or for a family with many sleeping options. Sleeping on the upper level with an epic stunning lake view was beautiful on so many levels. We were able to enjoy the view and gorgeous scenery from the deck and room while winding down after an amazing day. The morning was even better waking up feeling like you were sleeping right on the water. We had the best sleep in the most comfortable bed and cant wait to come back and experience another cabin at this beautiful resort. Nearby activities: This resort is surrounded by a massive sandbar, docks and many other swimming options. Lots and lots of space for outdoor games and activities. You are right on a beautiful trail that you can walk, bike, or even dirtbike and quad on. While barbecuing in the evening We were able to enjoy the 4 beautiful deers that were wondering in the field nearby. Walkability: If you love to hike or go for daily walks, this is the spot to be! The trails are perfect! Food & drinks: This resort provides every option for enjoying food and drinks. We enjoyed barbecuing outdoors, and really enjoyed being able to sit on our deck and also on the lawn on comfortable lounge chairs. We were even able to enjoy a lakeside campfire and roast marshmallows at night.
