Mission Thrift Store Fergus

I love this place! I don't live close but I try to get to it whenever I can. I mostly love it for the VAST selection of DVDs and CDs. Somehow, they have MANY excellent titles to choose from in the CD section. But...I gotta say. My wife and I LOVE thrifting. We have visited thrift stores all over Southern Ontario and many parts of the US. And I have never - EVER - seen a CD at a thrift store being sold for as much as $5, as this location does. VERY frustrating. I saw a DVD set for sale that contained 10 western movies - maybe 15-20 hours of entertainment - being sold for $5. At the same time, many of the CDs are priced the same for an hours-worth of music. Disappointing. NO OTHER THRIFT store has CDs priced so high. Last time I was there, I put many back because I'm not made of money and this is a thrift store. Also - how about a sign that says "CDs $5" (or $2!) instead of taking the time to put a sticker on every, single CD? And WHAT A MESS trying to get those stickers off! I ripped apart the cover of the record I bought trying to get the sticker off. Consider these just a couple of suggestions. I'm still gonna show up every time I'm in the area!

Blue ray disks very pricey. Interesting things sometimes but again prices vary.

Their auctions are an absolute scam. They purposely turn items away so you are unable to see whats inside, and when asked to turn them or show whats inside to get even some sort of idea on how much to actually bid, they decline citing theft concerns. Do not participate in auctions at this establishment. Ridiculous.
