        My lifelong love affair with radio began as a kid listening to my father's 1946 Hallicrafters S40 AM and shortwave receiver. After seven decades of service the radio was in good shape cosmetically but very much in need of an electronics update. Ralph was my first call and he did it!! Thanks to "Radioman Ralph" the radio sounds as good today....74 years later...as the day it was new!!
