I love my Latitude apartment. Jeff and the rest of the building management team have been amazingly helpful and very accommodating to my needs of "slowly" moving in. I love all of the amenities available in the building. The location is perfect, close to pretty much everything and anything one might need, from groceries to restaurants, a movie theatre, Blair train and bus station, and a short stretch to the 417.

Save yourselves the trouble and run as far away from this place as possible! I learnt about this place sometime in Feb-Mar 2022, and despite seeing bad reviews for this building and the one next door (Frontier), I booked a viewing for this place. During the first visit I asked about the rent for the specific unit I was interested in and they told me it was $1795 for a one bedroom unit (w balcony). I intentionally asked them about the rent THREE TIMES during this visit to make sure of the price. A couple of days later, when I wanted to sign the lease they said the rent is $1850 and claimed they had never told me it was $1795, and acted like I was lying. So then I told them that I'm not interested anymore, and within minutes they responded back to my email, apologized and said that there was a mistake, and that in fact they did tell me the rent was $1795. So eventually I agreed, and decided to proceed with the move. As part of the lease they told us that we will receive a welcome package upon our move, including a perks card for discounts on multiple restaurants, stores, entertainment, and activities. (you may see this on their Instagram) Unfortunately it's all a scam. There was no welcome package. There was no perks card. Months after moving in, I sent them emails asking about the perks card, and every time there was an excuse; that they didn't have the cards just yet, claiming the cards are supplied by their main office. I lived there for a whole year, and despite following up on this, I never even once saw any perks card. And parking, huh, good luck. I kept asking for an outdoor parking for our 3rd car (we had already rented from them 2 indoor spots for $150 each), and they kept lying to me saying that there are no outdoor spots in the area around the building allocated to the Latitude building. And claimed that they cannot rent a spot for the Frontier building to a Latitude tenant, despite having SO MANY empty parking spots. I followed up almost 6 months after moving in, and this time they claimed the areas around the building are going to soon be occupied for construction of the 3rd building. I was shocked when only a couple of weeks later, I saw them painting the asphalt with parking lines and spot numbers. Then they even put signs up for visitor and tenant parking with the building name LATITUDE. This time, when I asked, they accepted to rent me an outdoor parking spot. They did all they could do to make me rent an indoor spot which was $65 more than the outdoor ones. As for the building itself, it's not sealed properly so you constantly hear a humming or buzzing noise from the unit's door (which can't be fixed, we were told it's a design issue when we asked them about it), specially on windy days. Good luck getting proper sleep with that LOUD noise. The washer/dryer unit smells absolutely disgusting, you have to spend the minimum amount of time when trying to load/unload the machines, otherwise you'll end up greatly disturbed by the odor. The next thing is lady bugs. You'll find tens of them inside your unit (coming in from the vents), and hundreds of them outside on your windows/doors to the building, in mild temp seasons. Final word, beware of their move out requirements. They will never mention this on your lease or when moving in, but they will make you clean everywhere in your unit, I'm talking EVERYTHING and EVERYWHERE, before moving out, otherwise they will charge you $500 for cleaning the unit. I know the photos look nice, and the management acts friendly, I've been there. But believe me, it's not worth it. AT ALL.
