Dr Viet Tan Tran

Receptionist called me to set up an appointment but I already had one elsewhere except it was virtual. I would prefer an in person appointment as I thought that my issue my not be solved with a virtual one and I would prefer the in person appointment they were offering, she ignored me for a while and hung up on me when I was trying to explain my situation on the basis that since I've already booked something I should not be booking another. Hell of a way to deal with frustrated customer.

Does not take the time to explain... Doesn't give you a chance to ask questions.. They don't answer the phone and their voicemail is always full... Good luck trying to reschedule or cancel an appointment

Doctor Tran successfully diagnosed me and performed a seamless surgery. Was very clear from start to finish about what it would look like and how it would feel. Listened to my concerns about certain prescription drugs and set me up with the appropriate ones. Was very helpful in explaining what was wrong with me and showing me the progress on the x-rays and what everything meant. I have no complaints.

I have to share my review to help others choose another urologist. Dr Tran inserted a bladder sling on me years ago. He explained this was an easy procedure and life long treatment for bladder issue. I was told while sedated I would need 6 weeks at home to recover! Not a minor surgery! I was given no info on this prior . Then immediately had problems walking and he said he may have done it too right during a follow up. Also experienced and still experience weird swelling at sight. Went back a few years later with same pain and he told me not to worry that mine wasnt the one recalled. This is how I found out about recalls and class actions! Mine was taken off shelf voluntarily by company and he failed to tell me this. His bedside was terrible and he dismissed me during follow ups and told me my pain was t sling related. He only took me seriously after the class actions started. If you are seeing him ask ALOT of questions, do your homework and be prepared to not have informed info nor be treated with care after surgery! So if you are wondering why the negative comments this is one example of many during my care under him. Now I have a bladder sling that is eroding slowly I side of me that was never meant to be a permanent device and had I had the info prior to surgery that this was not a life king device and I would need multiple surgeries that take 6 weeks to recover from - I would NOT have had this for minor bladder issue!!

I' m trying to find a meaning behind some negative comments for Dr Tran, because nothing of that is true. I give my highest credit and thank you to Dr Tran for all he is doing greatly to help us. People should not be too selfish, but rather recognize, respect and appreciate other cultures in the world as well. ThANK YOU DR. TRAN!!!
