Stephanie and I met last year through an initiative I was overseeing. At the time, I mentioned that my partner and I were hoping to relocate to Goderich in the next year or so. Stephanie touched base with me every now and again, to see how life was going. When we were finally ready to start our house search, there was no question that we would be working with her (I have worked with a few real estate agents to date and even without having a formal relationship with Stephanie, she cared more about us than hired real estate agents did). She did a great job sending us houses that met our criteria and was more than happy to schedule (or reschedule) any showings we were interested in. When we found a home that seemed near perfect, we were going to place an offer not knowing whether it has asbestos/ all of the costs associated with it. The night before we put in our offer, I was stressed to say the least - and Stephanie was as well, truly caring about us and putting herself in our shoes. She not only managed to track down a previous home inspection, but she also contacted the home inspector to inquire about the possibility of asbestos AND discovered that all of the testing had been done a year earlier and everything was in the clear. We went into putting an offer onto the house confident that we were making the right decision. Since then, she has been great to check in with us along the way and reassure and calm my stress. While I hope to not move anytime soon, I know that if we do, we will be using Stephanie's services again!
