Moved to Meridian thinking they were different/better than the other big banks and boy was I wrong. The type of account I asked for(unlimited) was completely ignored and I was told that they automatically default to a per transaction account. From the very start being let down. Finding out later on that the charges were all over the place and some as high as $70 in 1 month. She told me that I should always be monitoring my accounts for phishing and fraud? How about blatant disregard for what your valued members have asked for??? And also having the audacity to tell me that Im spending too much? 100% NONE of their business. Never had ANY of these problems with my former bank and wished I wouldnt have looked for something better. Shockingly disappointed

I have been with CIBC for over 35 frustrating years. I have recently joined Meridian credit union and my wife and I are in the process of moving all of our investments over into Meridian because of the excellent service provided by Ben. A more professional financial advisor than anyone I ever encountered in Grimsby.

Worst bank. Dont waste your time because they have NO Problem loosing important paperwork and lying their faces off about it. I lost over 20 grand because of their mistake and they wouldnt even admit it or even give me an apology. Stay far far away

Poor customer service. Constantly new employees that are poorly informed, don't even know their own extension number at branch. Meridians statements are confusing & inadequate. In the last 4 yrs Meridian is circling the bowl as far as I'm concerned. I do NOT recommend this branch or any of their branches. If you do use, closely monitor your own accounts monthly! The only reason they even rated 1 , is that the employees seem nice but lack experience or training? Maybe even a little of both? All my discontentment is with Meridian & not the individuals that are employed there. I feel badly for the employees.
